Fastest way to run a tournament

I was wondering what the fastest style bracket is to run a tournament aside from single elimination, I'm having a crew battle tournament and I don't want it to be single elimination but I also don't want it to take all day. Any suggestions.

Crew battle Rock Paper Scissors would probably be the fastest IMO'

But being serious for a tournament to not take all day just have good planning and stick to a schedule and you'll be fine.

Crew battle tournament? Like 5 v 5? You can do it pokemon style where team 1 sends out someone and team 2 sends out someone and winner stays on while the losing team brings in their 2nd in line.
