Fast falling help

are there any tips on fast falling help with sheik? its really hard to Fast Fall with him, no matter how light and fast i tap the x or y botton. Any help or tips?

Fast falling has nothing to do with the jump buttons, you just hold down in the air. To short hop just slide your finger on and off the jump button quickly. Practice on a stage with platforms so you can judge when you've done it correctly.

Hey plank: can you put a short blurb on short hopping in the guide or something? Like in the Q/A. I'm so tired of these threads showing up.
