Fast falling help

Ok, so I'm having some troubles fast falling because when ever I go against my opponent, I totally forget or normally it screws me up when I think about doing it. Normally my friend will use Falco when he's against me. Any tips?

Keep practicing until it becomes second nature. That's all there is to it.

You mean fast falling as part of your SHFFL? You could practice on dummy opponents with star men to get used to the shield lag.
