Fast Fallers Question

So I've just been messing around with my Falco a lot lately because to be honest, my Falco is better then my IC's and I'm pretty decent with Falco.

Anyway, my question is this: When doing your basic Shine, full jump, d-air, fast fall repeat combo, generally, fast fallers can get out at low %'s. But, with characters like Falco, Falcon and Fox you can shine, jump cancel to anther shine, jump cancel that with your 2nd jump and then d-air. Now, granted you have to predict some DI, would this be wortg doing?

I only ask cause i havent seen many (or any) falco's use it

ppl do this, i.e. shiz, bombsoldier, etc... it's a more technical way to do it, that can do a little more damage than just a normal up-down. but they still get out at about the same %s.

that makes sense. it just seems like it would catch them off gaurd and work a little better if you mix it in enough

Fast fallers get out of full jump combos at low percentages, you use waveshining ont hem early on. Shine to shine to Dair can be DIed easier. They do something similar though, shine them above a platform, then jump cancel and waveland on the platform and shine them again to continue the combo.

Instead of the up - down, you can do the double jump shine (up - up) only if you can predict DI and wish to do this to counter what your opponent might do.

For instance, if I shine > dair > ff > utilt/shine > repeat, my opponent might DI very strongly on my dair and go into a teach. However, in that same situation, should they be DI'ng when I would've dair'd and I shine them again, I would have the upper hand.

Complex and minute mind-games. It's all about switching it up and picking up on prediction.

Well, if they were going to DI your DAir, they would DI on your Shine as well, and your second shine might not hit them.

However, the DI out of shine is less influential (I think) and is untechable =O
