Hey guys! I was thinking of a way to make my falcon better and I thought of an idea where you would switch you styles between games or half way through it. This would make it super hard for people to download what your play style is and I feel like could be super effective. Everyone has their own "style" but i'm talking about styles like

florida falcons - (Dash dance tech chase stuff.)

s2j - (Hard read, style.)

camp platforms - (When I think of this one I mostly use it against falcos because of lasers basically wait for a good opportunity to attack on platforms etc)

bair/nair camp/zone - (Usually I use this against marths, peaches, and puffs. to try to get a hit and zone them out while they are zoning me out basically a zoning battle.)

just because one style/strat is popular against a matchup doesn't mean we have to do them all the time!

please add some styles of falcon and go into a little bit more detail about the focus of the style because if you can learn different styles and switch them in between games it can throw your opponent off really hard. thanks guys I am really interested with some things you guys can come up with!

I think that the 20GX Falcons are really misunderstood, they aren't trying to just camp in their dashdance and only tech chase and stuff, they're trying to push Falcon to the limits of his ability. Yes, that means using the most optimal options to defeat Falcon's worst matchups, but it also means incorporating hard reads and some serious style points into your game. They've gotten a bad rap with all this "them vs S2J" stuff, and most of it just isn't true. Anyway, my two cents.

To compete at the high level it is essential to be able to switch styles on the fly according to the situation. If you feel you are losing in the neutral, it is more often that you're limiting yourself with your play style. I fall prey to this as I often don't just wait for an opportunity, and instead try to force myself in. This usually results in getting read, and smacked across the stage for my foolhardy behavior.
I think this could be a cool discussion as far as what types of options you have as Falcon, but I think that sticking to "styles" will result in predictable patterns and getting seriously punished for it at the high level. I believe it was a Bruce Lee quote that stated you should aspire to be like water. It can adapt to any situation and still maintain its composition (extreme heat, cold, any container).
