The main problem is that regular comboing (aka shine, dair) usually doesn't work really well, so stick to dair/nair + series of up tilts. Usually you want to minimize her chances of CCing w.e you do or UpBing oos and a good way to do that is to delay your aerials (do them when you are very close to the ground) so that the shine comes right after it without much delay. Don't jab or tilt next to her unless you already hit her with solid dair (which provides enough hit stun for a follow up) because you'll get CC dsmashed, and if she shields too much just grab her, w.e at least you get more % and f-throw may setup and edgeguard opportunity.
Laser f-tilt keeps her away but don't do it much on low% because you might get CC Dsmashed (unless your spacing is godlike you probably will get smashed). If you pop her off the ground with dair keep dairing her because, like I said, regular comboing doesnt work and is better to rack up more % with multiple dairs rather than missing a dair or any follow up because she naird you or DI too far away from you to catch up, with dairs you might even spike her off stage and get a kill. However, is worth mentioning that if you get a dair shine or shine into dair and you land it in the TOP platform you may want to try to kill her off the top by shining and shining again as she goes up towards the ceiling.
She shouldn't have much options to approach, any of those gets stopped just by lasering a bit and any projectile gets canceled by an aerial (most preferably nair) except charged neutral B. She can cambo with grabs but they're very very punishable. Try to bait her tilts or w.e with well timed dair or nair, you can Double jumped if you want, just dash dance and space well so that you dont get hit. Remember that you can still combo her a bit if you shine her and she goes towards the top platform (FoD, BF, DL and maybe PS). Try to do as much damage as possible everytime you punish her.
Haven't played a samus in a very long time, my friend who played samus really well is out of practice so I wouldn't judge anything based on last time we played because I pretty much owned him, the match up is tough if you don't have experience though. I still have to test things like the use of fair (if any) for example.
