hey mike ......CC shine ..bait fox more when you have low dmg..remember you have laser he dont and shine grab setups .. and some more double shines and shine outta shield

aslo dont go for long combos in tourney unless the opponent's di makes you combo him for a long time... like try to get fox off the stage as much as possible and walk off DBL laser is so good against fox and sets up easy kills
also i dont think i saw any tilts at fox's side b

and the biggest thing of all stage control and patient's like when he dosnet tech at the edge i saw it 2 times you tosses out aerials when you coulda got some good punishes

but you did really well i felt like you should took those matches easier but, watch and look at your mistakes and work on em

:edit abuse the 0-40 ..0-40- fsmash combo's please and if they dont DI away **** THAT FOX UP

thanks man. i'm going to try to change the way my combos end now say for example when i'm comboing on a platform and they

roll towards offstage then i'll probably fsmash...
if they roll inwards, i'll try to make the combo fatter

thanks for the advice, it was very analytical and helpful :)

change your teching pattern more, i saw you tech roll in a couple times in a row, and against fox on yoshis thats pretty punishable. When edgeguarding fox, punish predictable side b's onto the stage with turnaround utilt or low ftilt on reaction. Once fox is in range to sideb lasers are usually too slow, so unless you see him up b dont waste that time, unless you think he has a chance of making it to the top plat with side b in which case you have to guess.

in general (this is only based off of match 2 so take this with a grain of salt) you were punished for misspacing utilts, sh ac bair, and shffled nair, and some dj wavelands off the top platform. It honestly just seemed like you were impatient and fishing for a quick approach. I know it was yoshis, but i still feel like falcos need to fight for more laser control on that stage. For example, instead of approaching with a sh laser or aerial when fox is on a side plat,
while on the ledge, if fox is in dmash lag right next to you, lhdl is a pretty bad option, i think foxes can shine you if youre that close, even if you hit the first one. I think waveland shine or waveland to side plat to runoff reverse laser or bair would be much safer.

if I gave bad advice for the love of god someone call me out.

In general try to use more mindgames, less mindless aggro. You never do a wavedash back or quick DD before going in on Fox, making everything you do predictable, to a good degree. Try baiting his approaches, get-up attacks, and recoveries by mindgaming him with these tactics. Otherwise, your techskill is solid and you can definitely combo from shines a bit.
