PC Chris and Forward.

It's generally a good idea to stay away from creating these kinds of topics, as there is a Falco video archive that is stickied at the top of the Falco boards.

Falco doesn't need mindgames, he just needs shl. It wins games. Mindgames = playing smart, recognizing patterns in your opponents, and breaking your own patterns. Others will contest this "definition" (half-*** 2:12 "definition"), but they come from tournament experience.

SHLing is on of your best approaches. Be aggressive, but stay smart. Waveshining is something you should learn immediately and be able to execute at will, since it's hard to do shine/spikes without it. As far as mind games go, watch what PC Chris, Forward, and DaShizWiz do.

Most of this stuff is completely mechanical. I had trouble with the same thing. All you need to do is spend like a half-hour to an hour practicing all the advanced techs, and you should be fine. Just make sure you know them well so you can implement without putting too much thought into it.

Falco isn't really based on mind games. You mostly need good tech skill, and a bit of experience.

Shffl'ing is very important with falco, if you can do that, while adding lazers, then you have pretty good tech skill. Falco has some good sheild breaking and good combo starting moves.

For sheild breaking, pound away at their sheild with shffl'ed dairs, and shines, but most peopel will escape that.

To get a combo in, keep pressure on them, don't let them breathe. Shine, jump, spike, ff, repeat, maybe add a uair to that, good damage giving combo, a bit hard to pull off if they DI or are really good at teching.

I do not main falco, but he is my 3rd best char, so if any1 has anythig to say about my post htat is wrong, feel free to do so.

If you really want to learn falco, study vid's of forward or PC Chris
