i love FD above all. falco is a character who can control the horiztonal better than anything and since FD is just a flat ground, all of falco's tricks are at their full potential.

then pokemon stadium for similar reasons. i think falco adapts well to the changes as well as platforms.

-watch forward vs ken matches. forward owns ken on FD and gets himself owned on other levels.

FD is good for the above stated reasons, huge space for falco to control with lasers and it lets him use all of his mobility. The only disadvantage is that its also a great stage for chain grabbers and for this reason I prefer dreamland and pokemon stadium in its neutral form since they are both very big stages and they have platforms alowing falco to combo/help him escape from chaingrabs. Yoshis story and Battlefield are good too if you know how to use platforms for comboing with falco, though marth does a bit better on Yoshis story imo just because he can control so well from underneath the platforms. I don't like fountain of dreams probably because I'm a noob and I don't like the moving platforms or the flashy colors. Its basically like Battlefield or yoshis story just with more extraneous crap that I don't like.

I don't mind (out of the non neutral stages) poke floats or rainbow cruise since falco can move around fairly well and has space to laser though they aren't my favorites but I probably prefer playing on them to fountain of dreams to be honest.

For me the best stages will be: FD, PS and FoD(because of the double dair combo on plataforms)

FoD is better for certain other characters than Falco.

Mute City isn't terrible. Jungle Japes would probably be pretty good, too.

I like pokemon stadium a lot. The first transformation provides a nice platform to protect you from aerials while you fire lasers. The fire/mountain transformation provides a wall, which is very nice for falco comboing. The water transformation is nice for any style because the left provides an open space for lasering while you can pull out some platform tricks on the right.

yeah i like FD PS and DL the most, it depends who your against though.

Like against captain falcon or samus i woulndt mind yoshis story but against marth or fox i woulda rather play somwhere else due to the low xieling and close sides as well as marths platform tippers and overall range domination

i was under the impression that alot of pro falcos ban FoD right away. his lasers are hard to use on that level. the repeated dair drops using platforms is flashy but not that reliable and highly situational imo.

I've noticed alot of pro falcos don't prefer r don't doa s well on FoD, but I've found that against a shiek it is actual a good counter, haven't played a range of shieks but the ones I have had some trouble here besides them and maybe c.falcon I usually get owned here espacially by marth because his f-smash is ledge height

Stadium is a good stage, second if not tied with first with FD. Falco adapts to the changes on Stadium very well and can use the surroundings to his advantage alot.

I myself am not a big fan of FoD.

Though I would like to ask people what they thought about Kongo Jungle 64 for falco, or is this thread just restricting it to the nuetral stages?

It says "Falco level advantages" so I suposse you can talk about any level. The best is FD of course because falco can combo and spam SHL very well
