i play my girlfriend almost daily as falco...
and she is so scared of me....
she wins almost every time (maybe cause i let her, maybe cause i dont),
but either way she is very scared...

yesterday she fought a level 9 falco, so i just sat and watched... falco at level 9 is scary, incredibley scary actually... he is one of the faster level 9s and is quite tough in the hands of a comp....

so i asked her if she thought my falco was scary.... this is the reply i got...
"no your falco is just annoying, i hate the lasors and you are just too fast...
but the thing i hate the most about your falco is how cheap he is... no one is sposed to be able to combo, let alone combo from zero to death..."

there was nothing i could think to say in reply so i just said, "your just hella frightened",
she said no and challenged me to a 5$ mm and won....

so yeah....
all im gettin to is that falco is one scary ***** mother...
but watch anyone you play and yu will notice a difference when you are falco... they will get scared, i think its cause falco ***** shieldgrabbers, adv techers, sheik and even marth....
outsiders are frightened of the shine... the nair... and the dair..
he is everything he should be plus a thousand scary points...
oh well tell me what you think...

Not at all, falco is not based on fear, its just annoying to get lazer spammed and OBV if you NO DI what so eva then you will get ZTD, shield grab falco and abuse the fact that he is agressive char, falco can not be daunting only the play can be.

i think most run of the mill falco players rely heavily on pressuring their opponent, so i guess maybe somebody would interpret that as being "scary"

i dont think falco is really based on fear its the fact that falco can be overwhelming in some situations when a crap load of stuff is going on and its all coming from one person and that person is falco

Actually I agree with this but for different reasons. A lot of Falco's game involves pressuring them with lasers/pillars and forcing them into corners. A lot of the time they would have been better off eating one of them or trying to counter them via shield grab but when you pull it out really quickly players first instinct is to roll away, and you can punish them for that.

Falco is a character based on overwhelming pressure. Players who understand that usually respect falco a little more because of it. I'd say maybe less than fearing him, many players certainly are nervous when playing against a falco.
