Ok so I have been playing Melee competitively for a while now, and know how and can do most tech skills and apply them etc. However, there are a couple things that still trip me up, mostly dealing with Fox and Falco. Here are my questions:

What is a safe way to approach fox and falco? My current option is to mainly use a well spaced dtilt or fair, and sometimes a grab.
What should I do when a Fox shines me off stage? So basically when a Fox shines me and I am now offstage what should I do? Should I just up b as quickly as possible or should I try and sweetspot but possibly give the Fox a chance to edgehog?
What is safe on Fox/Falco shield? This is probably my current main issue. I currently like dtilt on shield, but IDK if there are any other better options or not, as they can spotdodge the grab if they expect it (unless you expect them to spotdodge upon which you punish the spotdodge with a grab but still...) So worried about Shine out of shield and other things like laser out of shield as well, and stuff like that.

Thanks!!!!

It may be small but when you get hit offstage wait for them to make the move and if they don't, just grab the ledge or land on stage. If they do come running in for a shine smace them out with a fair or you could also be risky and try and stage spike them with a dolphin slash when they get close for the shine if you are low enough

What is a safe way to approach fox and falco? dash dance, baiting whiffed attacks and moving in. My current option is to mainly use a well spaced dtilt or fair, and sometimes a grab. this works also but generally you react rather than go on the offensive. WDooS to escape pressure. if you're close enough to a falco laser, a counter will hit a shffled incoming nair. learn to powershield falco too.
What should I do when a Fox shines me off stage? So basically when a Fox shines me and I am now offstage what should I do? Should I just up b as quickly as possible or should I try and sweetspot but possibly give the Fox a chance to edgehog? this comes down to how well you read your opponent and how well they read you. first time will be luck, after that it's sticking to a pattern or mixing it up. completely situation dependent.
What is safe on Fox/Falco shield? This is probably my current main issue. Thanks!!!!
