Falco and Fox, shine troubles

I don't understand these matchups against aggressive Foxes and Falcos. Tech chasing grabs seems to be the best thing to do against Fox and Falco. But after I get the first grab off and chase, they will shine me before I grab and then combo. Now, even if I predict the shine, go up and shield it...or maybe they spot dodge shine and predict that too, I get punished everytime. He might roll out and then shffl some crap, or the best thing they do is jump and dair or nair out of shield. How do I deal with this? Or better yet, without tech chasing and grabbing what can I do??

Work on speed.

If they shine you out, you're either too slow in regrabbing or you are misspacing the grab.
Also, if you know they're going to shine or spot-dodge, try to bait it just standing or dashdancing.


With some practice you should manage to tech-chase consistently.

also if you want to rack up damage on a grounded opponent without grabbing, spaced aerials+needles are your best bet, but you should grab if the opportunity arises.
