If you think about it a lot of people are good with fox but there are very few people who are good with falco. I mean falco has some very good assets. For one his shine attack shoots the opponent up instead of to the side, opening the doors for many comboes. Second his blaster might be slower than that of Foxes but it stoppes the opponent dead in his tracks. And last but not least he is blessed with the best spike in the game. his down A air is awesome. Even though its a drill kick it doesnt hit the opponent more than once, it doesnt need to. If the opponent is in the air it will shoot them down at a slight angle. If the opponents on the ground it will hit him up opening some comboes. So is falco really a misunderstood clone of Fox? No, misunderstood yes but clone no.

There may be very few people who are good with falco in your area, but the tier list shows that falco is a dominant character in tournament settings. Falco's placing in the tier list makes it abit difficult for me to understand why you say he's "misunderstood", because if he can be used to beat the majority of the smash characters I'm pretty sure people understand his style.

Also, when people call Falco a clone of Fox they mean the way his moves visually match Fox's.

Thats exactly my point, if you asked someone whod they prefer they would most likely say fox even though Falco is a very very good character. As for the clone yes his moves are the same but there are a few attributes that set him apart from fox.

Maybe I should've made it clear. Falco is an extremely popular character.

Tournament players are VERY aware of Falco's strengths. The tier list shows this.

I didn't say that those attributes didn't set him apart from Fox. What I said was, when people talk of Falco being a clone of Fox, they mean the animations of his attacks have been cloned.

MANY people know the differences between Fox and Falco. Anyone that tells you that their moves are completely the same is probably very inexperienced.

In other words: You didn't need to point this out.

Yeah, I agree.

We really don't need a list of how fox differs from falco or we don't need an explanation why falco is good.

I think we all know that.
