are you sure about that? I thought it was about being as far from the hammer as possible. Someone with ar can figure this out in a hot minute.

I was under the impression that you have to hit with the later part of the hitbox. My reason for believing this is that whenever I do dthrow -> Nana fair -> Popo dsmash, I have to start the fair really early so as to get the later part of the fair.

its the top of the hitbox.

like in the arc that they swing it

its like

^ hitbox here
> hitbox here
v hitbox here

i feel like its the ^ hitbox

i could be wrong though

but i get **** spikes in my matches so i think i might be right ♥

Outermost part of the arc? Like the head of the mallet? I'm pretty sure that's the opposite of what you need to do.

correct it is in fact the hilt of the hammer that is needed to be hit in order for the spike to work.

The smaller red is the hit box for the spike.

Should have come here earlier and explained this instead of let my fellow IC players go crazy.

any other hitbox or technical questions will now be answered in this thread

Is there a difference between the vertical range of standing grab and dash grab?
Dash Grab- 40 frames

Normal- 30 frames

dash grabbing and normal have the same hit box, jump canceling grabs is the better due to the less lag from it.

Both have 2 frames of hit box (sad huh).

Edit, changed my mind about this thread going to make new topic.

hey. about that inside hilt hitbox. How do I get that hitbox to interact when the bigger one is entirely encompassing it??
