Despite his appearance as a cocky and arrogant hothead in Smash Bros, the canonical Captain Douglas Jay Falcon is a significantlly different charactert, being confident but at the same time heroic and humble character.

So, who's the better Captain Falcon?

Powers:

Canon Falcon is capable of everything Smash Falcon is capable of, being capable of pulling of the Falcon Punch as well as stand his ground in battle. This is evidenced by the cutscene in F-Zero GX where Falcon walks up to Black Shadow, clenching his fists, ready to fight. The Falcon Punch is also referenced in the Ending Theme of F-Zero GX.

Additionaly, Canon Falcon is seen fighting a group of thugs, and besting them all.

Never knew that lol. I thought it was only limited to the Anime.

In any case, Smash Falcon still takes this because he's just that more awesome. Not only that but unlike Canon Falcon he's still relevant.
