Smash Rookie
I'm Nick -- you probably saw that one coming -- I'm 24 years old student living in the Netherlands. I used to play Smash 64 at my mate's house when I was a youngster and after that I was beating up my cousins legally in Melee. I've only started watching competitive Smash recently (like a year or so ago) and getting into competitive Smash a month ago. I'm pretty much an online warrior as of now but I do plan on going to tournaments once my online general win ratio is high.
Since I'm a huge Fire Emblem fan, I've been maining Marth since Melee (I skipped Brawl though). I didn't like what the did to him in Smash 4 though. His down air is kind of hard to hit, especially considering so many characters pretty much get the spikes for free and his cooldowns (or do you call it landing lag? Whatever the wait time after an attack is...) seems to be quite long on many of his moves so he seems to be easily punished. So I've picked up Corrin! (S)he seems to play a lot like Marth, but has more range and spacing options. Also, Nair is amazing. I'm still having trouble in the neutral game but atleast Corrin's range is a good tool to protect me from getting punished as much as I was getting punished with Marth.
Still mad there's still no release date for Fire Emblem: Fates in Europe. >=(
Other notes: I like football (soccer), anime, games (obviously), graphic design and fitness.
