i need some help on how to play him could anybody explain?

explain how to play diddy

If you have time I would read the kranky guide/hitbox thread, and then read the tactical discussion thread from start to finish as there is a lot of good information in there. Watch people in the video thread too.
If none of the actually good Diddy players wish to shed insight I'd be glad to give advice, but its best to learn from the good players like Disqo, AbstractLogic, Guy, Bladewise, DLA, Boss(east coast), SpiderMad, etc. A lot of people are busy with tournaments this weekend so I would check the video thread at first and try to learn through example.
A good place to start would be to learn bananas and its properties, and then get all the Glide toss and AGT tech down so things are really fluid. Then just learn follow ups to side-b and its options, and then just play by dash-dancing with a banana in hand and practice playing reactively.
Once you have the movement options and item tech down, diddy just kind of comes naturally to most people and it just flows out of you.

Diddy is a jack of all trades type character. He's got tools similar to sheik, captain falcon, DK, and link, all kinda mixed into one. So the question "how to play diddy" can be relative. Diddy is such a versatile character that there isnt one defined way diddy does well; diddy does well because he mixes multiple defined ways, switching in and out all match long.
Some characters/players will do better vs a campy diddy, some fall apart. Vice versa with the aggressive diddy, the proactive diddy, the opportunistic diddy. Its all about exploring all facets of diddys game and becoming to know when to switch in and out. This is the strength and weakness of diddy: what works on player A won't always work on player B but will obliterate player C, so switching up on player B will cause you to struggle vs player A but player C will defeat you easily(and on and on and on like that). This is why its EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO PLAY AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE FOR EVERY DIDDY BRAIN. Never get to comfortable with whats working, the next person might be ready with a solution.
