So it’s been over a year since VR mode was introduced, and it’s still extremely limited. I would actually pick up a toy con headset if I could simply play stock matches, but you can barely change the rules. You can’t access all the stages, and the only thread I found about expanding new VR mode brought to my attention that you can’t even select the Mii fighters.
I know Sakurai said home run contest would be the last mode to be added to the game, but this mode already exists and could use some work. I’m not picking up a toy con (cheap as they are) until they revamp this mode a bit. I’d love to be able to play online in VR, and I could even understand why they couldn’t do that, but no stock matches vs bots? Really?
What do you guys think? Too much to ask for some work to be done on this mode?
