Exactly how many button presses a second is it for max tornado recovery?

A lot, but if Melee is anything to go by you have to do one press every 2 frames (doing a press every frame isn't any more effective than doing it every other frame, I THINK)

Just do what I do and be a scumbag. Map B and Y to special attack and alternate presses really fast.
