Do you think that Jigglypuff, Pikachu, Squirtle, Ivysaur, or any other possibly playable Pokemon will ever evolve in the Smash Bros Series? I'm not sure about the rest of them but I could imagine Pikachu turning into Raichu in mid battle, but just being a more powered clone.

and the Japanese predictions site gave a GREAT chance of Wigglytuff replacing Jiggs...

ash's pikachu never evolves(it seems they took that pikachu style for him to be based).
look to the same show for jiggs, but I dont know about that one.

Pikachu in Brawl is not the Pichu from melee, there is nothing to show this.
Wigglytuff will never replace Jigglypuff because Jigglypuff is still the second most popular pokemon of all time.
And Raichu won't be a Playable character.

more or less pikachu is a combination of pichu and pikachu's costumes(due to pikachu having the goggles)

I see Ashley, Waluigi, Bowser Jr, Deoxys, Lucario, Darkrai, Dedede, K.Rool, Diddy, Dixie, Black Shadow, Samurai Goroh, Wolf, Krystal, Claus, Lucas, Ridley, Dark Samus, Ganondorf, Young "Cellda" Link, Midna, Ike, Micaiah, Black Knight, Isaac, DeMille, Chibi Robo, Ray 01, Stafy, Captain Olimar, Sukapon, Tingle, Some Kid and Takamaru.

This could just mean that he now has some of Pichu's stronger points to make up for Pikachu's former weaker ones, it doesn't mean that he's an evolved form of Pichu. That's ********.
Also you seem different, usually you seem smarter than this, buying into the crap that Pikachu is an evolved Pichu from Melee.

Not likely, though it's disappointing as I never like Pikachu much and Raichu's desgin is much cooler.

About that Japanese site, just to let you guys know, they don't think Ridley is deconfirmed. Any character highlighted in green is deconfirmed, while yellow means that they are confirmed. I think characters highlighted in red (such as Ridley and Ashley) means that they've been hinted at the DOJO!! (since those two have their own themes).

OMG dont tell em Raichu might make it. He actually weists character select screen space! Wigglytuff replacing Jiggs? I guess, but the problem is that most likely none of the two will return. They need space for characters like Lucario. oh and the reason Ashes Pikachu doesn't evolve is because you need a Lightning stone to do so.
Ash basically chooses for him not to evolve because sometimes evolving lowers friendship (in the anime).

Your going to base that off the Anime...Ash in the anime is also a complete idiot who never accomplishes anything...The Pkmn Trainer in Smash is Red, who became the Pkmn Master (ok, so he didn't evolve his either...big deal)

You haven't got the slightest clue as to what you're talking about if you think it's likely that neither Mewtwo nor Jigglypuff will return. They need space for other characters? Do you know exactly how much content can fit on a Wii disc?

Sure maybe he's cooler, but you know how it is. We all grew up watching Pikachu, all the kids shouted for Pikachu, all the kids knew who Pikachu was and some still love Pikachu today. Which is mainly why Pikachu has been in the Smash series. He's popular.
