EVERYONE HAS A WEAKNESS
I would like to throw out there I am an Ice Climber/Pichu main. I am posting this because i am tried of hearing that _____ is
impossible to beat or ______ sucks and they are unuseable. Take marth the most broken person in the game(my opinion) many good players
have beaten beaten M2K and Ken because marth isn't flawless and M2K and Ken aren't flawless. And let's say someone has mastered marth to
where he can't be hit(never happened) well the marth can still be beaten or come tied with pichu. Why? Because pichu can just powersheild and
spotdodge every last move marth throws out, correct? And seeing how no one has mastered powersheilding or any other form of defence
then it is in fact possible to win as anyone vs anyone just not always easy. Again let's take the Ice climbers, 1 grab = death 100% of the
time. H*** no it can be a 0% death if they time it perfectly and if you never DI or DI right the same with every one and plus with the ice
climbers they have a pretty bad grab range for being disjointed.

Let's look at the other side let's take pichu. What are his stonger points and what are his weak pionts in the match vs marth weak:marth's
range, tech chase and he combos you. Pichu's advantages: You have many great grab set-ups and a chain throw and when you are done you can tech
chase into a dair or throw him off for egde gaurd, It's hard to edge gaurd pichu, pichu is hard to hit in general.

Think, isn't that about all marth really has of pichu, don't get me wrong they are big deals but most of that stuff pichu has to deal with
anyways and tell me, doesn't the match-up look a little easier? Because you know when you get marth you can do something to him unlike other
match-ups for Pichu

All i am trying to really say is you don't have to take the easy half*** road and just play as marth and the other top tiers.
Isn't that why many don't play brawl? Because it's to easy, I am not saying marth is easy to play as I am just saying it can lack the
challenge and some marth's weaknesses is his wieght and he can be comboed decently by about everyone and he is chain throwable,
plus he is juggled nicely(not fox good) Spamming really sucks for him and being faster than him is just great for fighing him, pretty easy
to egde if you learn how.

And everyone, don't forget to thank my brother for translating and making this make sense.

Tell me if I should add some details or any other mumbo jumbo.

Someone make a how to beat marth thread for everyone -marth (lol marth will have to figure that one out.)

Everyone does have a weakness, I hear you on that one. But as I understand it, your message is that people shouldn't take the easy way out and play top-tiers, right? People shouldn't try to play low-tiers because of that too, only this time around you can't think that by playing a low tier you're somehow special and should be respected. It'll always be an uphill battle when playing a character that is tons better then your character, and it isn't just a easy fight. You're also saying that match-ups are better when you study them and learn easy ways to gimp the opponent etc. Of course it is, that's part of the game. That's the fun in Smash, you have to learn your character really well and then you have to learn matchups extremely well.

Sorry if I sound like a jerk throughout the post, but I'm actually agreeing with you in my really wierd way of agreeing. I play Pichu in Melee to, and it's not easy at all. But hey, if I were to study the matchups against characters, and learned him more, then I'd have a better grip on him.

Good blog, with a good message. And thanks to your brother for letting this make sense. :)

Although it was completely sarcastic.
