These things are inaccurate even when the game in question is 5 years old, let alone one that just came out in North America. Why did they have to start it so early? I cringe to see stuff like Greninja bottom tier, that's really not realistic and you know it, even if you're anti-tier at the moment.

Eh, as Captain Falcon proved in Melee, the lists can be wrong for years. I wouldn't worry about it and would practice the character you want to get best with regardless of what other people say about them.

Keep in mind this "tier list" is a popular vote from the eventhubs comments section. I think Eventhubs is really great FGC news source, but the comments of it (and SRK) has a lot of trolls. These players don't go to tournaments, but love to troll news posts and streams (aka Stream Monsters). Take their opinion on character balance with a grain of salt.

Actually, scratch all that. Just ignore their opinion on character balance. Like Cthulu, it's only going to drive you mad trying to figure out their logic.

Worst I saw was one here on this board a week ago that put Lucario as #1 and Mega Man dead last. When according to a chart of actual tournament play so far Lucario is dead last and Mega Man, while not fantastic, has been viable.

Lucario is almost A rank, according to the tier list provided by Ophy. Meanwhile, I think Mega Man himself is upper D rank. Of course, it's completely up in the air at this point, but seeing as Lucario was in the Top 15 in Brawl, I think he'll stay upper B or even A.

I just did a team battle online and my team randomly went against two little macs. I don't think I have ever died so many times in my life. Almost quit SSB4 after that...
