Event Matches? What do you want to see

I enjoy the event matches and the little nods to characters they usually make. Also sorry if this was a thread already

I'm quite looking to seeing if Ike vs Palutena is one to reference the final battle of Radiant Dawn

Events more like the ones in Melee. The Brawl ones were trash IMO since they weren't fun or interesting. A lot of them are cheap and only the all-star mode-esque events and the showdowns let me choose my character.

Hey I'd like it, we could see just how spaced out characters in franchises are too.

The gap between Marth, Ike and the possible Chrom would be pretty big just to state one example haha. Mario's would be all clustered then suddenly LATE Rosalina etc

Personally, I'd like to see Event Matches incorporated into a bigger mode idea I have, called "Super Smash World".

In terms of what Events I would like to see...I really just want as many cute/referential scenarios and interesting game changing tweaks as they can come up with.

Maybe have one where you fight all of the female characters, called "Super Bash Sisters", if only because NOT getting that reference in somewhere would seem like a missed opportunity.

And we of course need the obligatory battle involving Mario, Sonic, Mega Man, and Pac-Man.

I'd also like to see the 3DS version attempt to use the Smash Run map for Events in some way.

Description: Go toe-to-toe with the kings of gaming in a 1-on-1, tournament style match!

Goal - Defeat each gaming icon in their own stage. Die once, and you lose.

1. Gotta Go Fast! - Play a Sonic, against 3 Sonics, each permanently equipped with Bunny Hoods, on an auto scrolling level going at least twice as fast.
2. Clobber Dat Dair Kirby - Play as Dedede, fight 100 Kirbies to cheesy if catchy music.
3. Pokemon Battle - Attacks are disabled, but Pokeballs are set on high and can be thrown.
4. No Items. Fox Only. Final Destination - Exactly what it sounds like.

This. I've went back and completed all the events in melee several times but anytime i go back to brawls i get bored rather quickly.

I couldn't tell you exactly what brawls were missing tbh but they just didn't come off as fun to me, I remember a lot them just feeling arbitrarily (and cheap like you said) instead of challenging.

A friend and I intend to do the battle of the blues. Him as Megaman and Me as Sonic. The event suggestion made me smile.

I'd like to see some events with more unorthodox rules and objectives that you don't see in other modes.

Something like a King of the Hill style match where you have to occupy the Engine car on the Spirit Tracks stage by yourself for a full minute or a Stamina battle in the boxing ring that gives you a ten count to try and get back up once you are KOed.

Description: The delicious smell of food has attracted these four gluttons to the same source. None of them want to share though, it seems.

Objective: Only food items spawn. Whoever collects the most within 2 minutes is the winner.
