I don't know if this has already been proposed...

But do yal'l think that the video put on the dojo on Tuesday with Donkey Kong trying to get his bananas back is foreshadowing the inclusion of event matches?

The description and the video were much like the scenarios of the Event matches in Melee.

While i think you're idea is kinda...dumb (NO OFFENSE) I do think that events will be a little more interesting this time around, maybe some sidescrolling and other fun stuff

Sakurai wouldn't make a CGI movie just for an event match. Maybe maybe something like 51: The Showdown, but that's about it. I do think it's possible that event matches might have a little more story to them.

I don't mean the video was just for 1 event match...

I think it looks like a preview for the Event Matches in general. I didn't mean that the video was for a particular event, but, like hes done in the past, as a "here they come" video. Kind of like the 'snake has entered the brawl' videos

It was confirmed that, that was from the SE. Having videos for the event Matches would take up too much space. Space that they could be using to put in more stages chartcters or whatever.

Check out the sticky'd E For All videos. It's a CGI clip from DK's Subspace Emissary story. We've also seen a bit more of Kirby and Pit's stories through E for All.
