European and Skandinavian online tourny hosted by DaveUk and thino
Calling out to European and Skandinavian SSB players to enter an online tourny starting Monday 18th February. Sign up by Friday the 15th.
Games will be played in reps UK server or a suitable alternative server if someone has an issue with reps.
Rules are as follows: (Suggestions of slight adjustments to these welcome since I have never hosted a tourny before)
All matches are 5 stock, best of 3 games, (finals best of 5)
No items
First level hyrule, second level Dreamland, third, (+fourth and fifth in finals,) loser of previous match picks
First game both players choose character in advance, subsequent games, winner chooses first then loser after (after the second game, loser picks stage before any characters are chosen)
Desynch results in restarting the game from scratch, (unless a whole game has been played in which case the current score carries over). Continuous desynch without resolve results in the problemator being dismissed from the tourny.
Continuous lag of under 56 fps, or lag spikes nulls the game and the issue must be resolved or the maches continued at a later time. Failure to do so again causes the lagger to forfeit.
If one player lags out then the game is restarted, same characters and same level from the same number of stock you had left before the lagout happened, unless someone had 130%+ damage then they go down a stock.
Sector Z is banned.

If there is a lack of interest then obviously we'll cancel the whole thing, however I know many european players who would be interested but don't frequent these boards so those who do see this and are interested get into contact with others they know and direct them towards this thread, likewise if you are in reps spread the word.
