Eureka! A brilliant plan for someone to obtain a demo disk of Brawl.

I don't know if anybody has thought of this, but why doesn't someone pose as a member of an online video game review site (that has some credibility) and call Nintendo until they can reach someone that could potentially give them a demo disk?

The reason I think this is possible is because sites like IGN and magazines usually obtain demo disks a couple weeks to a month before a game comes out so they can give a review of the game or give previews.

It'd be worth a try I think, and far beats people's "Steal the Wii with the demo disk in it" ideas.

BY THE WAY, THIS COULD BE CONSIDERED FRAUD, I NEVER ADVISED ANYONE TO DO IT. =)

Cause if they for some reason send you the disk before they find out your not a journalist, (they will since you will need credentials) they will just sue you?

Who's with me?!?
Not me. I hope you end up in a maximum security cell for doing that.
And Sakurai might drop out of SSB development because of that. Your actions will make said scenario even more likely.

If you believe that's totally easy, do it yourself and see how far you'll go...

IGN gets certain games beforehand because they're a huge force in the industry. I don't think any of us here are also huge players in the industry, so... don't think this'll work.

Completely ignoring the fact that the creator of this thread's logic is completely absent, only one of us would get the demo so there wouldn't be any point other than a few more videos on YouTube.

Don't listen to them, it's a good idea. Record and post the conversation so that others can follow the protocol.

That's probably get you arrested and stoned publically by the entire gaming community of Japan...
But:

It's probably a good way to get into the next Smash Bros Game...

What's wrong with you all? This is a brilliant idea! The person who goes couldn't possibly get caught, and they'll surely be able to get a brawl demo disk that doesn't yet exist!

Elaborate.

And if it doesn't exist, it cannot be procured.

listing the gaps in your logic here.
