Error hosting and connecting to games on ver. 4.0-648

Hey guys, don't really know what happened but ever since last night I've had trouble connecting to games. my first dolphin completely broke. After trying to figure that out I gave up and installed a new version. After re-installing everything and transferring all my games over I tried hosting and connecting to net play. when I try to connect to someone it gives me this error "Timeout connecting to traversal server" and when I host it gives me this error "(error: Timeout) I doubt the traversal servers have been down since last night because that's what it's been like for me. Don't really know what else I can do if re-installing didn't fix it. Any ideas?

Have you tried using the latest version of Dolphin? The current development version is 4.0-3369.

Keep using 648/652. The newest builds haven't gotten dc netplay like these custom builds have. Try allowing Dolphin through your firewall and if that doesn't help port forward, that will 100% work.

I ended up installing 652 and it worked. I guess 648 is just completely ****ed up for me

That makes no sense because they are identical aside from 2 UI changes.
