Error code 60000 when trying online?

Hi guys, extremely new to PM. Just reinstalled 3.5, hackles wifi safe, the other day, and was really enjoying local play.

However, when I tried to play online, I recived "error code: 60000", which is the error code for the discontinued Nintendo servers.

Following that error, I checked to see if the addon of PM wifi was installed on the launcher. As I would have guessed, it was.

Anyone have any idea what I'm missing?

The error code means it doesn't recognise your friend code, so the only fix is to delete the save file.

Ok. So it just needs to be off of the system memory right? So if I transfer it to an sd card (not the one with pm on it, obviously) for my safekeeping and records, and delete it off of the system, I'll be good?

You can't transfer Brawl save files to an SD card unless you use homebrew. And restoring it after deleting it will just bring the error back. If you really want to retain your records, you'll need to use homebrew to copy the save file, remove the friend code parts, and copy it back.

If you don't want to use homebrew, the only thing you can do is delete the save file entirely.

Alright, so I sucekd it in, and deleted it.

Then I got a message from Nintendo advertising transfer to wii u.

*sigh* not your fault. Thanks for the help Mr.Edgeworth. I've seen your around this part of smash boards a lot. So thanks for helping scrubs like me sort out our ****.

Here's a complete version of Brawl if u dont have one yet.

-Use Winzip, Winrar (whatever works for u), then find the private folder
-Put that to the root of your SD card
-In settings, go to Data Management, Save Data, Wii, then to the SD Card
-Copy or move the file (make sure you have no file of Brawl on ur Wii)
-You should be ready to go
-Make any small changes to the game to fit ur needs when u load Brawl.
