Error Code: 118-0516?

I worked yesterday against this very same person, why can't I connect to him and vice versa anymore? I can't even connect to other people.

I've even tried all these DMZ things and port forwarding, nothing worked

I also have and STILL have this issue.

From what I read in your post, I guess you have a modem connected to the router that is connected(through an ethernet cable) to the PC.

It's a NAT issue, a double NAT issue, the modem has NAT and your router(which I presume have fixed it's NAT issue through port forwarding) has too, and the NAT type on your modem might be strict.

I think it is due to Gateway mode routers(and modems), you have to set your modem to bridge mode, this might be a little hard to go through since...
- You need to access your modem's interface, on an administrator level.
- Bridge your modem/router through that interface, it's different for every router.

I haven't tried this YET because everyone at my home is using WiFi and the cable from the modem must be connected directly to the PC to even access the settings.

Or, instead of bridging the connection, you can just edit the modem's interface(ethernet cable attached from modem to pc) lower the firewall(or NAT), and plug the cable right back at the router.

I'm not a techie so... but this is the information I've garnered for desperately trying to find the issue to fix this damn error.

The weird thing is, it works sometimes and then stops working. It just seems random.
