Equipment obtained on Wii U better than 3DS?

I meant to make this thread a while ago, but here's something I noticed by the time I got all custom moves on both versions of the game (so naturally, lots of single player time was sunk into both). Once I dinked around with equipment some, I noticed that, by a significant amount, much of the equipment I amassed on Wii U was much better than what I got on the 3DS. Has anyone else had similar experiences?

I have gotten some strong equipment in Smash 3DS, but I guess the fact that Smash Wii U has Crazy Orders can explain how you're more likely to pick up better equipment in that game.

Also, in Smash 3DS, there's a limit to the amount of custom parts that you can pick up per game mode session; up to 6 for Smash Run, while Classic mode doesn't always give you a chance to pick up custom parts.

The equipment I have on my 3DS is a lot better than on my Wii U :/

I have cleared all challenges on both games and played a lot more on the Wii U..
Comes down to luck I guess

I struggle with getting custom equipment and moves on my Wii U version of the game. For that reason, the equipment I have on the 3DS is better. I'm sure when I get the hang of Crazy Orders and the like I'll start getting more results on the Wii U.
