Uhhh....I THINK the mindgame is him making Sonic believe he would jump on the platform(which he had laid a mine on previously). So when the Sonic goes to attack above the platform: BOOM. GAME!

Nah that wasnt it. Snake got launched by sonic's attack, sonic tried to attack again and aimed directly at snake which puts him in the range of the C4. Then snake saw that sonic was in range and blew up the C4.

imo, just lucky.

It doesn't look like the snake even set it off, i think the C4 just exploded because it was there too long.

I did set it off, dunno why but it cut off the ending part for some reason.

(Someone from the Brawl boards made that pic, even I wasn't sure anymore if it didn't autodet, but then I checked and the time wasn't even long enough for it to autodet.)
