Hey guys, I have an English project and the subject I picked was competitive gaming. I thought this community would be the perfect place to start. If some people could give me some thoughts or ideas just post them. If you have some questions or would even like to be interviewed via aim or Skype just send me a pm and I'll add you
Thanks in advance

I think you'd get x100000000 more feedback and useful information if you chose a game like Halo.

What can you really say about Smash Bros competitive gaming?

OMGZ GAIZ SNAKEZ IS BROKEZ LOL META NITE FTW LOLZOLZOLZOLZOL

Other than that, FPS' are better known for competitive gaming. But if you're set on fighting games, I suggest you PM a few people around here who are known to regular tournament goers. And don't try to limit yourself to one game, either.

Sorry, too distracted by your sig.

Anyways, I'd say focus more on stuff like Dustloop and names that actually matter now because brawl=lulz. *Not to say don't include us =/

Try and point out the history of competitive practices in a game starting from previous generations. Like Pong. Don't forget to use people's real name and gamer tag since using a gamer tag in a paper looks absurd. like John "thekiller38t62347" Doe. Use something to that extent. Also interview people who are recently entering the competitive scene to get their and the pros thoughts alike. I've written some crazy papers and I know that teachers and such love their precious structure more than anything.
