Ddance = dragon dance. It's probably the best move you can teach Gyarados.

And yea, level up your pokemon. You can do this in Victory Road battling wild pokes.

There are some trainers in the water south of Sandgem Town, which takes you to the PalPark. You can't use the PalPark unless you complete your pokedex, but that doesn't matter. Just surf there and battle along the way.

The elite four are chumps. You know what the types are going to be in every battle. Just counterpick them. My Empoleon one one-shoted every pokemon of the first three trainers except one or two when it was only at like lvl 55.

Yo, I recently finished the E4 in Pearl with: Roserade lv 53, Empoleon lv 52, Steelix lv 52 and Rapidash lv 54 + a lot of Hyper Potions.

Just have patience lol. And you have Dialga =/
Yea. U don't have to be around lv.60's...it just helps save some hyper potions, notice the above.

Replace Kadabra and Haunter while training Infernape. Infernape is a bit too low leveled to last long. If you can, get a Gabite and turn it into a Garchomp. Dragons are generally useful vs the Elite four becuase of their lack of weaknesses.
