Smash Master
Behold!
Multi-millionaire Bruce Wayne asks...
"Does it come in black?"
Shadenexus18: Why...yes it does!!!
-------------------------------------
A Brief Synopsis
Sure it looks sleek, pretty, and shiny shadenexus18, but what can this baby do? What's the purpose of this car?
Alright here's the lowdown. If you didn't already know, we are a little over half way of completely depleting our oil reserves all over the world. With that being said, the cars of today will become obsolete, and a relic of the past. Also, meh...why would you want to keep paying at the pump day after day anyways?
Here's where this awesome looking car comes in. ^^
The Fisker Karma is an electric powered car powered by a solar panel on the roof, and more importantly the lithium ion battery generator. (the device found in your laptops and phones) Furthermore, the solar panel on the roof helps recharge the lithium ion battery generator so that your car won't break down on the road if by chance you have exceeded the 60 mile limit that day. Yes people, unfortunately, after you run this car 50 miles, you'll need to plug up this bad boy in your garage, or someone elses for a recharge. Hmmm...I wonder if jump cables work? *ponders*
Facts thus far.
- Despite its eco-friendly background the Karma features a 125 mph (201 km/h) top speed and is capable of reaching 60 mph (97 km/h) from a standstill in 5.8 seconds.
- Right now, this car is super expensive. (It's $80,000) This is only because this car hasn't been put on the assembly line yet, so when it does, it won't be so pricey.
- This car has a mysterious 'sport hybrid' mode. The only thing that we know about this mode is that the Karma will be capable of doing 100 miles per gallon of fuel consumed for a range of 300 miles. (Yes, it is also fuel effecient for those who commute and travel alot)
- You can reserve yourself a copy of this car right now. By the fourth quarter of 2009, the Fisker Karma will be available for purchase in the U.S.
