So I really hate the really long thread starters, so I'm going to make this one short and easy to read.

The Following is a picture of my Top 50 for Brawl.

I will point out 5 Things:

1. Off the bat you will see 55 portraits. This is because I included the 5 transformations or possible ones.

2. These are listed in alphabetical order.

3. These are mostly my favorites as well as some other favorites I've been seeing mentioned in the threads.

4. I am well aware that not all these will make it, along with the possibility of there being 50 characters is well... slim to no chance. Edit: Some of these are actually only honorable mentions. (i.e. Ashnard, Daisy, Wart)

5. If I excluded your favorite character, or you simply hate one of the ones on my list, well... bugger off. I'm not trying to please everyone, and find it impossible and foolish to try to. Hell, I don't even like a few of these, but I here others do and so included them.

This thread's purpose is 3 Fold:

1. To get my un-official opinion out there in the community.

2. To hear some other's opinions about my own opinions.

3. To see how close I will be compared to the final product.

Very Good list except for some characters like Wart, Majoras, Roy and Pichu.

Agreed. But I feel that even though, those have a very slim chance to no chance of making it, those four should at least be honorable mentions. I mean, with Sakurai I've lost most of my logic.

Though, I do hope for Majora, just because he's my second favorite behind Link.

Ashnard, i think it's the Black Knight's King/Boss/thing. It's the evil guy. Boss material.

Okay let me try to explain this. Now let me point out that I judge Lucario as a greater possiblity to get in than Pichu. So why didn't I put in the Lucario instead of the latter. Well, Pichu isn't directly correlated with Lucario, so I can't compare the two. Instead I will argue why I didn't put Lucario in:

I feel he lacks certain character, or the little character he has, has already been used with other already playables.

Which argreeablly Pichu does as well, but his presence in Melee gives him precedence over Lucario, to be mentioned in a list of 50.

You have a nice list, but pretty much unrealistic - way too much Fire Emblem representation or whatever with RoyMarthAshnardMicaiahIke. Additionally, Majora's Mask is unrealistic because the game itself hasn't been canonized like OOT was and TP automatically is. I'd predict Midna easy over Majora's Mask, or if I were predicting the mask, at least with Skull Kid wearing it. Daisy really doesn't have much to justify being more than a Peach recolor, and I'm thinking Wart is automatically going as boss or trophy - SMB2 just doesn't have the same weight as the other games. Otherwise, my only complaint is why is PT four characters?

EDIT: About Pichu - he deserves the spot more than people give him credit for, but the not everyone's gonna return statement has turned people off him. Personally, he's my favorite Pokemon, and is less programming than about every other character. Also, why no love for the good ol' Olimar?

Roy was just a filler character used simply to advertise a game that failed...

all doc Mario is, is just Mario in a Doctors outfit that throws pills that act like Mario's firebalss...

...Neither of those should return

To be honest, I halfway on this list. I have seen much better, but I have seen much worse. Not trying to criticize, but here are my suggestions.

Captain Olimar
I cannot believe that Wart made this list while the Pikmin wielding warrior was left out. I am pretty sure Olimar is going to be in Brawl, and he has potential five-hundred times that amount of Wart, along with a wider recognition area.

Pichu
By saying this, I am not insinuating that you need to put Lucario in. I just think Pichu was a waste of a character.

Fire Emblem
Way too many Fire Emblem characters. I think the number in the actual game is going to range from 2-3, so this list reeks of Fire Emblem. In a good way though.

With some tweaking, this could be a decent list.

I think I fixed the list:


I red X's mean they should be changed and switched out with someone else.
I wasn't sure if the Pokemon are their own characters, though... PLUS Pokemon trainer does not fight, either get rid of the Pokemon (With the X's), or Pokemon Trainer.

Oh, they aren't there own pictures, I just included the pokemon along with pokemon trainer to show the transformations (sort of).

Its still a list of 50 though... just with 55 pictures representing 50 characters. (5 transformations)

I agree with most of your Xs.... most.... not all.

I know Deathborn, Daisy, Lip and Majoria are all stretches but they're better than most stretches... (i.e. Toad, Slippy, Shyguy, Boo, Tails, Birdo)

He should, I think because he seems like a really stupid-funny character.

Just imagine a battle between King Wart, King Dedede, King Koopa, and King K. Rool....

This is my dream.
