Editing Items (Common3.pac)?

I'd like to know if there is anyway to edit items? I know it must be in the common3, but I don' know how. Let's say I wanted to change the hitbox of a Deku Nut, what offset would I change?

It has to be possible since Brawl+ has modified Link's bombs and ZSS armor pieces.

Get opensa2. Open it in that. Look at the offsets it shows you in a hex editor after adding 80.
