Edgehog technique

I thought I had seen some topics on how to instant edgehog with DK, or something along those lines. I read about them, but I wasn't any good with DK back then, so I really didn't care.

Now that my DK is lethal, I'm wondering if there are any ways of edgehogging besides turn around>wavedash and jump>backwards GP charge.

You can use a grounded Up+B to edgehog, like how Bowser can fortresshog.
DK doesn't seem to have too many options around the edge.

jump>backwards GP charge

You can do that w/o the jump by just running off the stage. It's an instant edge-hog. KK made a thread explaining it in detail. Look it up.

Totally just found this one: if you are on the main platform of Jungle Japes and just run straight you will immediately grab the ledge on the side. I don't know how useful it could be but it's kinda cool.
