Alright, a friend wanted me to post this and see what everyone thought of it.

It's a way to edgegaurd, probably been discussed before but I'm not really sure so here it is.

it's taking advantage of platforms, putting nana on the platform and have popo and nana smash/ice block/blizzard/whatever on different levels to try and increase the area you're guarding.

I've already given my 2 cents about it, but he wanted more critique so...yea

Thats funny but I dont see it being very usefull. The main reason is because it takes so long to set up that they would have to be pretty far away which means their options are probably pretty limited already, so unless its a samus or a puff I dont think it will take long them to get to the edge and you could probably edgehog smash easier and faster.

i agree with binx..would take some adjustment to get used to, but if its like a samus, the ice blocks would be very helpful against her.

It may have its uses but more often then not, I feel that in order to keep the desynch going you are predetermining when the smash is going to be. Not to hard to get around for a samus or puff. I just think that being desynched on the platform doesnt help very much, t leaving them synched would work better.

even if it's not that useful, i still think it would be an interesting thing for me to practice how to do the nana-on-the-platform thing 100% of the time. thanks for sharing.

PP, FL... yes, i said pp.
It doesn't take long to set up. The easiest way I just came up with and tested is to do a spot dodge desync to iceblock then just press down to full under the platform. pretty easy desync and its fast enough that it might be useful. I just can't think of a situation just yet.

Edit: I know you can also make nana waveland onto the platform while popo just dodges back down, that one is a "tad" bit harder to do.

Edit2: this only works on Yoshi's and FoD apparently >_>

For me the easiest way to get nana on anouther platform is to jump and hold up on the control stick, popo wont continue jumping but nana will.
