when edgegaurding against people i normally use the tecnique where you do a bair and regrab the stage or you jump and dair and you di forward onto the stage.

recentally i saw a combo vid where you grab the edge then wall jump and spike then firebird bak onto the edge and i was woundering what the purpose of that tecnique was, was it just for flashyness or was it actually suposed to be used at a certian time when your opponent does something.

here is a combo video of where i found this stuff so u have an idea of what im talking about.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=37qZ2kfavdQ

4:10 hes doing the bair kick

4:21 hes doing the spike kick

4:28 hes doing the wall jump spike

so once you see these tell me what the wall jump spike is for thanx

It is flashy, but realistically, it's just a different kind of attack. With the wall jump dair, you're hitting somewhere the other two attacks cannot.

there are a few uses to walljump dair

it can catch people offguard(once or twice only, if they arent expecting it)

you can reach out a little farther with the dair. i like doing it to fox when he thinks that he got the upb off high enough to not get spiked.

you create a diagonal line of spike (must be timed to properly cross paths)

it looks flashy.

all situational, but it never hurts to have another move in your arsenal.

When I do the laser to a Fox/Falco, he instant front-B, and I don't have enough time to hit him after... It is me or it is normal ?
