So you basically do a dash, and then dash again before the first dash animation finishes, resulting in different movement options.http://www.ssbwiki.com/Fox-trotting said:Fox-trotting is the technique in all four Super Smash Bros. games that consists of moving along the ground by repeatedly executing characters' initial dash animation, as opposed to using their full dash. Since some characters' initial dash animations move them faster than their full dash, these characters are able to run faster with the use of fox-trotting.
With rosa, foxtrotting seems to actually make her move a little slower than when she's doing her normal dashing.
And now for the point of this post - you can foxtrot with R&L more easily by tapping the control stick in the direction you want to go twice, then tapping it at a fairly consistent pace for as long as you want to keep it up. This means you don't have to go straight from a standing(/walking?) position to tapping in the direction you want to go at a VERY consistent pace.
Not sure what foxtrotting could be useful for in regards to rosa, but maybe there's something, which is why I'm noting it here. For now it's useful as an alternative to teabagging after getting a kill I suppose
