Smash Master
I have limited, but legit, info on the following characters:
Meta Knight, Pit, Ike, Diddy Kong, and Donkey Kong. Keep in mind I will still answer any asked questions. Also, yes. WAVEDASHING IS STILL HERE. Fear it, for it is the noob weapon.
MK: Deconfirmed as an uber. Yes its true. His power isn't the best, his FS is arguably the overall worst in the game, and is as light as a feather. He is still a combo god. On to B moves: his regular B is VERY FAST and movable. His BV is a reflection attack that has a long duration. His B> Is movable and EXTREMELY cheap. His B^ is a weak, but multihitting, spin attack. Finally, his FS. Meta Knight basically spins his cape on a close by foe. Only activatable at close range and at a certain angle, it is easily outranked by even the Kong's. However, if this attack DOES hit, the screen fades to black as the foe caught in MK's cape is still there, then a few seconds later, a sword slash cuts through the darkness. Anyone in the way of it has a eighty seven percent chance of dying if they have a damage percentage of fifty or above. Still sucks though.
Pit: As most of you know, Pit has been largely covered. The only info I DO have is his BV and B^. B^, as you know, is Wings of Icarus. For those that thought it was an extra jump (Like me) you were wrong. It has a continuous lift. His BV is like Meta Knight's, except with a shield. Any info on this shield will be appreciated. His Bow n Arrow move isn't what it seems. You can aim before you fire it, but when you try to aim when it is already fired, it is very inaccurate.
Ike: Whoever said Ike's FS was like Pikachu's was REALLY wrong. It is similar to Link's, making them more of rivals. Ike launches his foe into the air with fiery effects, pounds the hurt on them, pauses with his sword held over his head, and dives down in a spiraling, and Chuck Norris grade awesomeness, manner. His BV is Counter and his B> is a dash attack. Ike is SLOW, not like Bowser. He is Ganondorf slow. He is powerful however, so use that to your advantage.
Diddy: Strangely, he was a fan favorite at the demo. I can see why. His B^ is chargeable, as is his B, but my favorites were the FS and other B moves. His BV is the worser, where he tosses one of those new banana peel items into the arena. It is considered an item at that point. His B>, however, amazes me. Diddy jumps forward and it turns out, his B> is a command throw, as is Bowser's B>, Except quicker and can push back farther. Diddy's FS is like Pikachu's, wildly inaccurate, but if it hits, it hurts. That and he can shoot exploding peanuts. My main so far.
Donkey: Relatively unchanged. His B moveset is the same, but however , doesn't have an aerial BV. His FS frustrates me. It works at close range, but it has a bomming aftereffect. If you can utilize it properly, it will own many.
Also, some of my own observations:
Fox's FS is about thirty seconds. What he can do with the Landmaster in thirty seconds is irrefutable proof he hasn't been tweaked at all.
Mario, by hypothesis, is a charge n store move, like Samus' Laser or DK's Power Punch. He wears it as he goes. Also, his FS is unavoidable, and if it hits, kiss your arse goodbye.
Oh, and the ladies at the demo only know how to play the game, and otherwise know NOTHING about it. They didn't give a straight answer for Cpt. Falcon returning.
