Has anyone other then myself played these games? Or even heard of them? Being a history major/nerd this game has a huge appeal for me since it's based of historical events in chinese history. The game itself is also a great stress reliever, you press a button and everyone dies. xD

Yesterday I found the trailer for Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires (DW6E) on koeiwarriors and almost fell off my couch. While the sixth installment was a bit of a dissapointment with less stages, deletion of some characters, and tons of clone movesets I'm remaining hopeful for this DW6 Spinoff. Frankly, I really enjoy taking the history into my own hands and being able to play through and conquer the map as I see fit. Something that made this even better for me was the CAW system (Create a Warrior). I'd love to see that put back in like it was for DW5E and maybe they can get some of those characters they deleted back in or make some cameos. It's possible, the game was just annouced the other day at the TGS.

I've only played the one on GBA (Is there one for it because I'm sure I've played it).
Isn't it basically moving mean around like a tactical game and taking over areas?

Yeah, there's one for the GB and the DS. The Handheld ones are primarly like that, moving to an area and fighting off the enemy soliders that occupy it, repeat until you reach the enemy main camp and defeat the commander.

The console games however are very different. Here's a video to some DW6 Gameplay.

Sorry it's in japanese. Swillo here has the import copy. I may try and record some videos of myself playing it later.
