Drop cancel Rushing?

i have just thought of a tech based on the principles of DJC rushing ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqnHJh7Qyag - all credits to House ) and drop cancelling-DC- ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TBfiEuzYAc - all credtis to House *).

could be posible to DC after every dash to "run" faster?.....it may work on some characters depending in the speed of his A aeriales and the difference between his initial dash and normal running. Also the dash should be as large as possible (depending on the character)

if it works it would only be usefull in "Peach´s castle" and MAYBE in "Planets Zebes" with that larges platforms.

i know: it would be almost impossible to do in game...only isai with his brain pluged directly to the N64 could do it, but i was just wondering if some Taser could try it and see if works... :)

if someone didnt get it would be like this:
maximum dash-dc-maximum dash-dc-maximum dash-dc...and so on.

Could someone try it?...if it work, give credits to me :p (mr yo/mark)
...and also to house because it would be possible with his ideas.

*Im not sure if House discover Drop cancelling, if not correct me and i will edit it

i know, my english is crapp :)

why bother.

I mean, drop canceling and Djc rushing are both basically useless/impossible to implement even somewhat consistently. And there are very few slanted platforms that you can drop through in legal stages. It seems the difference would be negligible anyway.

djc rushing is handy, but i cant do it with any signifcant difference on a n64 controller. but a tie of the two would be...useless.

ok you are right im going to change the title from: "I discover the cure of cancer" to "drop cancel rushing?"...o wait a minute that was the original title.

this is a game is just for fun and some people enjoy that kind of things...

also, let me tell a couple of things:
1- i clarify that would be useful in peach castle, and planet zebes (that in emulator without the lava rising up gs its a very good and balanced stage).

2-i have seen Alpha, a GREAT player drop cancelling in game before in peach caslte, for combing and edgeguarding.

3-i have never seen anybody DJC rushing in game, but have you ever seen sima or a played against a REALLY good ness?...it may be humanly possible to perfect or almost perfect djc.

4-i also clarify that was almost impossible to do and i was just asking a taser to see if it works, just out of curiosity.

So...whats your real contribution to this post...nothing at all.

djc rushing is handy, but i cant do it with any signifcant difference on a n64 controller. but a tie of the two would be...useless.
is not a tie...i thought of these thanks to djc rushing (because in all character except yoshi dash is faster that runing), but this has nothing to do with djc rushing actually...is juts drop cancelling after every dash

lolk

The very fact that it was House who put up vids means that it's an extremely hard-to-do tech that wouldn't have been discovered otherwise.

Good luck using it.

mr yo -

u mad cuz no one likes ur idea?

Useless on peaches castle, not enough slanted platforms in a row to make it useful.

Do you know how many frames a drop cancel has to be minimum? Is any chars initial dash so much faster than his regular dash that it would be useful?

You seem very condescending, "let me tell a couple things" and then just say you clarify that it's good and useful, without actually clarifying anything. Have you ever done this in a match? Vid?

rpotts, no i havent done it....its just an abstract idea...and i really do know if the difference between dash and runing speed is higher than de framse that are needed in a drop cenlling..thats why i said it...its just an idea, thats what im saying, and i would like to know if its possible...and i answered to you like that because you said something that i had already said and turned against me...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vS22bWM8uQ

you really didnt said something i hadnt clairfyed before

except the part of peach caslte...i didnt realiced that is just slanted at the borders....but still is just a curiosity....and im just asking a taser to try it

if you still need to discus and say is absolutely useless...i can say that maybe with the upgrades in the new stage editor someone could do stages with large slanted platforms...but i dont care about that...its just my curiosity.

Finding out and doing consistently are two different things.

Like I said, go ahead and learn to drop cancel rush. I'm sure it'll be interesting.
