My theory is that Japanese people see dragons as "slow moving"
Assumptions:
Charizard for SSBB is going to be a slow/sluggish character
Bowser (who has dragon-like characteristics) is slow/sluggish
Shenron from the dragonball series appears to be slow with a very slow speaking voice
Godzilla (who has dragon-like characteristics) is slow/sluggish

As for Westerners
Dragonballs appear fast moving
Assumptions:
the dragon from Shrek appeared to be fast
Eragon the movie (never seen the movie but seen the commerical) has a dragon that is fast moving

Well I made this post because I have nothing to do in class

Wait--you said that a character from Dragonball Z was slow, supporting the Japanese side, and other characters from Dragonball Z were fast, supporting the American side. I know nothing about Dragonball Z, but it seems you made a mistake there.

If you ask me, I'd say that you're wrong (sorry). We don't even know how Charizard will play. We haven't even seen any videos of him, I believe, and I'm guessing he'll be about average in speed to make up for his increased size and strength. Bowser is a turtle, not a dragon, although he does have some very dragonish qualities. The dragon from Shrek seemed slow to me.

Maybe a few more (better) examples would help to convince me that this isn't just your bored mind looking for patterns. Not to be mean, of course, but people do boring things when they're bored.

Hey! You're using a different style than me! You have blue words, but mine are just gray.

Too bad you missed it when it was like 50 posts per day. Also, I resent the notion that I'm boring. Although it is true that I am usually bored.

But I'm thinking it might be good to talk about the speed of dragons.

I think you made a mistake here. DBZ characters may be fast, but the DRAGON is slow.

Who said that I missed that?

You obviously don't know about the, "Get a screen shot of the loser with the most 'posts per day' " game.

I am thoroughly impressed, Wikipedia. I mean, wow. It means a lot to me that you would fill up your hard drive with stuff like that. But after you tried to give my computer a virus through a private message, I'm a little worried. (He really did--it said "virus" and there were a bunch of numbers. I'm guessing it was trying exploit a stack overflow error.)

I think you made a mistake here. DBZ characters may be fast, but the DRAGON is slow.
Ah, okay (I really do know nothing about DBZ). But I still think you can't count the same show as both American and Japanese, and put the fast things in the American camp, and the slow things in the Japanese camp. That's just bad science.

I was saying that it's bad science (as in, it doesn't make sense, it's misleading, etc.) to use the same show as both an example of slow Japanese dragons and fast American dragons. "Bad science" here is a figure of speech--I wasn't saying that Dragonball Z had anything to do with science.

What I find most disturbing is the fact that Wiki had shots of your previous post rate ready to go. Stalk much?
