Downsmash used defensively

Interesting alternative to shield grabbing, works good at high percents because this move can kill around 110% or so. Fastest way to do it is just release your shield and at the same time hit down on the c stick, I'm not a frame expert or anything like that but this move comes out pretty **** fast.

I'd rather do AAA. Faster, cancellable in case your opponent shields or dodges, and gives you better options if it hits.

The down smash is mainly used to counter aireal approaches, the opponent can't shield in time to block it. AAA is useful at low percents, the point of doing down smash largely though was largely the very short start up time and the fact that it can kill at fairly decent percents (around 110%).
