Down Tilt

Has anyone noticed that using down tils (not just meta) seem to trip?

Such as attacking with a d tilt has a higher chance to have the other person trip because i guess they got hit in the leg?

So far ive been able to d tilt and fsmash someone cuz they tripped. Not sure if its them just tripping or if its just D tilts

Ive noticed this as well, but I think of it as a slight chance to open up another combo and not really a trip per say

d-tilt f-tilt(all 3 hits) f-airx2 is a combo that has been working well for me
