Mind clarifying what you mean?
I believe he wants to know exactly how far down you need to move the analog stick before your character lets go of the edge. I assume it is for more accurate / faster inputs for ledge hop stuff.

I recommend using away rather than down to avoid fast falling by accident. Fast falling makes errors larger since you will have moved farther down than if you didn't fast fall. I don't know if you move on the first frame or not, so it might not matter when you do the inputs perfectly.

I can't say it is the exact same, but I think it might be the same point at which you turn around while standing that you will let go of the ledge.

(Almost) all the controller maps I’ve created are here: http://imgur.com/a/2na5b

Not sure if what you are looking for is in there since I don’t understand what you are looking for either.

Maybe, hopefully he clarifies. PS, I merged your posts to avoid you getting a warning for Double Posting, cause I'm dealing with other things right now, please remember to not double post.

Nevermind I guess I was just doing something weird on the ledge, thanks though.

I was thinking of switching to dropping with down on C stick then jumping with up on analog though instead cause it seems kinda weird but pretty precise.
