Down Throw into Up Special kill earlier than up throw?

Yo I'm knew here.

this is probably incorrect and I'm sure the matchup and DI play big roles in this but here I go.

lately in my matches i've been exploring more options than Down throw into F-air and they seem to be getting me kills at earlier percents than I can with up throw.

Am I just super wrong? or is it just not practical to go for down throw into up special?

It's not guaranteed because the opponent can DI away from Charizard after Down Throw which is what most experienced players will do.
