Hey, guys! I thought we could have a thread discussing Doubles. Doubles is something that I don't think gets enough love. It's a bit more complicated than two players that are good at singles just playing their singles characters. For example, in Melee I hate
in teams so I go
even though I'm better at
. Stuff like that. So talk about it here!
Use this thread to discuss:
1. What characters are good for teams.
2. What characters are good teammates for a given character.
3. What team is best out of two sets of characters (I play A, B, and C; my friend plays X, Y, and Z, what team out of those is best?).
4. General team strategy.
5. Team strategy for a given team.
6. Stages in respect to doubles.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I guess I'll start.
I play
,
, and
. My teammate for tomorrow (and for most tournaments) plays
,
, and
. We like the potential that
and
have, but I'm not sure if we're there yet in that team to play them in tournament. I'm not sure how good
is in teams, and I like
in teams. Is
good in teams or not, and what are some possibilities for him if he is?
