Double-Jump Cancel and Sound Effect help?

Hello guys,
I'm almost done with my first mod, which is of Ness. However, I need help with two things:
  • I want to change the sound effect of Ness's bat when he hits someone to the Home-Run Bat's PING! I changed it once, but even if I didn't hit anything, the ping would play, so I changed it back. Where can I find the crack noise?
  • I want Ness to Double-Jump Cancel again like in Melee and 64. How do I do that?
